The kind of travelling I like most

My best travel experience
My favorite city is probably Florence, Italy. I didn't know much about it before arriving--I thought it would make a nice stop between Venice and Rome. I was amazed at how much beauty and art the city had in store for me. Having some ice cream in a quiet park at sunset was the best! I cannot wait to go back.
My 3 most important things for a perfect trip
1. Don't overpack. Try to figure out what you really need. Don't bring a bunch of stuff "just in case". You can always go to the drugstore to buy some disinfectant and band-aids if you need to. After all, that's what the locals do. 2. Plan ahead. So you've arrived in Paris and just seen the Eiffel Tower, now what? Research destinations ahead of time to pick out several possible sights to see. You don't want to waste precious time reading your guidebook once you're there. Do it ahead of time. 3. Be sure to schedule in some down time. Try not to schedule every minute of your day. Leave some time free to explore places that you find once you're there or just time to relax so you don't get too tired.
How Travel changed my life
I've always loved being "on the go." When I was younger, I made up atlas games to pass the time on long family vacations. I knew I wanted to live in and travel to other countries. Travelling gives me a broader view of the world. Meeting people and seeing new places helps me recognize similarities and appreciate differences.
