You’ll find a majority of all the Turkish shops in the city located here. I found this a great place to find small town sellers selling hand made goods in tiny little shop. They do good quality work and don’t expect much in return. Though they will try to sell things to you at a bit higher price when they know you are a foreigner, though that is probably obvious. You can find all kinds of stuff here like carpets, pipes, scarves, clothes, all of which make great and cheap gifts to bring home. Try looking at some of the jewelry here. If you look carefully you are bound to get a great deal. Make sure you hide all your valuables (like cameras), my friend had his camera stolen in Bosnia from a nun.
