Piran is a picturesque little town on the istrian coast not far away from the italian city Triest. The town is on a peninsular reaching far out into the mediterranean sea. The architecture is in the venetian style. All the roofs have red tiles and every building is connected by arches. You can say that the town is one huge building. The small shaded alleys are cool during summer and there are a lot of small cafés and small plazas with fountains. At the shore there are nice restaurants selling fresh fish. A camping site is 15 minutes away.
