This is a cheap, clean and utterly unimaginative hotel in an easily accessible part of Oslo, some 15 minutes walk from the central station. The rooms are small and basic, but the main problem was the heating. It was far too hot, and we couldn't find a way to turn the temperature down. Sleeping with the windows wide open meant the noise was extremely disturbing, and I had a very poor night's sleep.
The breakfast buffet next morning had a few redeeming features: first of all, it was open until 10am which means those people who think a holiday actually includes a lie-in can get one; secondly, the array of foods and the quantity was impressive.
I can't say I was particularly impressed with the service. People were polite, in an off-hand sort of way, but nobody went out of their way to be helpful. I managed to leave a brand new coat in the cupboard of my room and telephoned from the train I was on, only a matter of an hour or so later, to ask them to keep it for me. The man assured me he would do so - but on my return, there was no sign of it. Nor were the staff in any way interested in the fact a theft had occurred in their hotel, or moved to expend any energy in looking beyond the lost property cupboard for it. It was stupid to leave the coat, but I was very disappointed with how they dealt with it - especially as I informed them of its loss before anyone else can have checked in to the room I vacated.
In all - very poor.
