Linköping’s Cathedral is the first sight I would recommend visitors to check out when they come to Sweden’s fifth biggest city. The cathedral is located close to the library in the centre of Linköping. I used to walk by here on my way to the library, but didn’t bother to see how it looked like inside until my last term in high school a few years ago. I remember it was a cold winter day; I was freezing and went inside for a couple of minutes. Apart from an old man sitting in the front row, I was alone. It was completely quiet and peaceful. I sat there admiring the ceiling, the walls and the interior of the cathedral before heading outside. A memorable moment.
