| Every tour bus carrying on through Killarney sightseeing will stop or at least will announce the famous Ladies View. The strange name comes from the fact that Queen Victoria and her friends used to admire the view from that specific place. So if your bus is driving the road N71 from Kenmare to Killarney, ask the driver to stop near the numerous souvenir shops and than take a three minute walk to get the best place for a panorama view. To direct those traveling on their own, drive about 10 kilometers south-west of Killarney. |
