Travel Tip: The Lakes of Killarney

5 stars
Published on Jan 29, 2008 by Elizaoprisor for Killarney

The Lakes of Killarney is also part of the National Park and as for everything else, there are guided tours taking you to the most scenic places of the lakes. Don’t hesitate to accept the offer of taking a boat to Innsifallen, a beautiful small island in Lough Leanne (actually it is the largest island of the lakes). The Lakes of Killarney is the perfect place to go for a hike; at different levels you will see glittering lakes connected within each other through small rivers and waterfalls. A single day is not enough to discover all the beauties of this site.
