Travel Tip: St Ann's Church

5 stars
Published on Jan 29, 2008 by cosmoclaudio for St Ann's Church

To see the St Ann’s Church you must reach the Shandon side of the town and look for the tower with a golden fish, there’s no way you could miss it. To climb up to the belfry of St Ann’s Church is not too easy; the staircases are narrow and curved and you shall expect jumping out of your skin if somebody happens to tune on the bells just as you climb up. But you’ll get a chance to revenge and ring them out of your strength too. St Anne’s Church is also famous for the four clocks on each side of the tower. This clocks show different hours but they synchronize on the hour. This is why they are called The Four-Faced Liar.
