| No matter how many interesting places had you managed to see in Cork there’s only one way you could capture the Irish essential feature and that is to spend a few hours at the Hi-B pub. This pub has neither changed ownership nor been renovated or re adapted over the last few decades. What shall you expect of it: a small, dirty and smoky interior and a cozy atmosphere. You can meet there people from any rank: teenagers, artists and artists-to-become, bankers as well as homeless people. One more thing, if you want to survive there please learn a few rules imposed by its eccentric owner: no mobiles allowed, no chewing gum and no non-alcoholic drinks. |
