| In Bled I certainly wanted to visit the castle. It started off with one tower, one thousand years ago and but later fortifications and constructions made it look like today. It is on top of a cliff, away from the danger of a siege. It is why the present day museum of the castle features many jewelry collections. In fact people were buried here with their pricelees jewels on. Also, nothing can be more Romantic that to sip a coffee and have the great view the Bled Castle has to offer from such great heights. The healthy part of the trip is that you get to walk to it if you’d like, you won’t be disappointed. |
