In Piran, the Tartini square is the best place to start your sightseeing. First of all, the most renown buildings of Piran are here.: the St. Peter’s Church, the town hall and so on. The square is in fact dedicated to the music composer Giuseppe Tartini. Many would say he’s Italian but born in Piran. The square is round and if you catch powerful daylight, the sun makes the pavement look like and ice-skting ring. There is no traffic but I can’t understand why they let the cars be parked all around the square. It would be better without.
