Travel Tip: The St. George Church

5 stars
Published on Jan 30, 2008 by Elizaoprisor for The St. George Church

To climb to the top of the church you need to pay a rather insignificant fee. I can’t say whether it is worth it or not for you. The scenery from the top though, is spectacular. You find yourself facing the Adriatic sea uniting with the sky and below your feet you have the Tartini Square. It is one of those places that demands a shout from you but next thing you know you might wind up in arrest. The interior of St. George is not that impressive. It has white walls and golden decoration, not what I expected by the looks of it when I saw the exterior architecture.
