Travel Tip: St. Klement’s Church

4 stars

The crown of St. Klement’s Church seems to be a lighthouse. The lighthouse was placed here because the church is pushed to the edge of the shore in a high place, good enough for it to receive a “top hat”. The church seemed to me a little dry although it was raining all day. There aren’t any parks around, places I’m used to when visiting churches, or even a small green field. After many inquiries I found out that the church bares the name of a pope and that it is again a pillar of homage brought to the end of the plague years. Such monuments are often to be found in this region of Europe. St. Klemens was closed when we got there.
