| Leaving aside that the old city should be under the care of UNESCO instead of many other sites I’ve visited, the greatest fun on my holiday was to walk along the walls of the city. This way you can see the town from all its angles and boast about having marched one of the oldest walls that exist.. Make sure to have plenty of water with you and those that have heart problems please cover your heads. Depending on the season it could get unpleasantly hot. My favorite was the Minceta Fortress; it looked like a strategic point in the line of defense because this was the purpose of the wall. |
