Travel Tip: Aguas Caliente

5 stars
Published on Jan 31, 2008 by cosmoclaudio for Machupicchu

The truth is after you’ve followed the Inca trail and spend a few days through the mountains you start to feel the absence of a good meal or a hot coffee. Aguas Caliente, this small town at the end of the rail line for Machu Picchu will come to you as a relaxation oasis. There are many places you can get good pizza and there are shops where you can buy souvenirs and local clothing. Or you can walk the streets to admire the churches and beautiful sightseeing. But the best of it, you can take a bath into open air thermal baths. Could anything else be more relaxing?
