When you go to Tabla restaurant, definitely go for their Table d’hote options; I have been there for 2 times by now and from both times, my husband and I chose different menu from the Table d’hote and both of them were pretty good. Each menu of the Table d’hote is enough for a family of 2 adults and 2 little kids although I believe they are actually meant for 2 persons only. I totally suggest their BB menu of Table d’hote. For 32 CAD before tax, you will get Papadam (the think cracker; great for appetizer!), shrimp Pakora (battered shrimp), onions Bahji (fritter), Tandoori chicken, curried beef, Aloo Bombay style, Basmati rice, dessert of the day (I ALWAYS ask first before ordering whether the dessert of the day is Ghulab Jamun; for me, they are to die for!), and of course Naan bread. Located around downtown area (St. Catherine Est), besides take-out and dine-in there, I think they also offer for deliveries. Oh and by the way, if you order the Table d’hote menu and you couldn’t finish them all, you can ask them to pack the left over to bring home with you.
