The food in Naples was out of this world, maybe in the top ten of places that I’ve been in Europe. It also was quite reasonably priced which as a traveler is always nice. My favorite though was the pizza. Apparently Naples is the birth place of pizza and even if its not it certainly was the most note worthy. Making good pizza is not only a science it’s an art. They are very specific on how the pizza is made, so much so you can get certified – and an interesting little aside, I understand there is a certified Napoli pizza style restaurant in Chicago. One of the best places I went for Pizza had a picture of President Bill Clinton on the wall enjoying his pizza. The place was called Pizzeria Cacialli; it’s a great place and worth the wait, the pizza takes about enough time to have two beers with some friends before it gets to the table.
