For those of you who don't know it, there are a few really nice ski resorts in the south, and Sugar Mountain is one of the best. I enjoy skiing there because it is a short drive from Georgia, and when you go it is usually snowing. The slopes are not as dangerous as they are out in Colorado or Utah, so they are much more applicable to the children. I would call Sugar a beginner style resort. You can take lessons at the bottom of the mountain. Once you complete them you just gradually move up the mountain according to how comfortable you are. The moguls further up are sometimes steep, but the mountain is set up as such that you can avoid them if you need to. By the end of the week you will enjoy yourself if you have paid attention in class. Your kids will probably be skiing circles around you but at least you will be having fun. lol Check Sugar out if you live in the South, I know you will enjoy it.
