Departing from Puerto Veijo by bus is not as easy as it may sound: The small town has two bus stops - one is on the main street and very obvious and the other one - who knows? We found out too late our bus would be departing from that other, hidden busstop. So obtaining information in advance is recommended here. Hitch-hiking doesn't work too well in Costa Rica either, the only ones who stop are tourists.
