Travel Tip: Colorful colonial town

Granada, the oldest spanish colonial town in Nicaragua and most likely the most beautiful town in the country has a lot to offer that appeals to the eye with its colorfully painted buildings and a number of ornate churches and monasteries with beautiful inner courtyards. One example is the Iglesia San Francisco, which triumphantly competes with the (often overcast) sky in terms of color and brightness.
