Travel Tip: Kings Park

3 stars
Published on Feb 8, 2008 by AndreaLJC for Kings Park

Stupidly I decided to walk from Northbridge to Kings Park, I don’t mind walking but I think taking the bus is a better idea as there isn’t much shade along the way and it was boiling hot and slightly uphill (and yes, I am also very unfit) so was almost collapsing when I got there and then had to force myself to muster the energy to walk around the park! There is an information centre in the park, plus a few cafes and restaurants that make a fabulous lunch stop. There is also a tree top walk you can do (it sounds really high up but it isn’t as high or as long as you would expect) and it gives great views across the city, free too!
