Close to the Lido Bowling Club, there is a VERY great pastry and delicacy place called Cziniel Cukraszda (around Nanasi Street); this is a nice coffee place with so much yumminess (well watch out for the high-sugar people). I just gotta say they have the best punch and tiramisu torta! When you go there, definitely enjoy your cake outside on the garden seating; it’s a great feeling. Their punch torta has a bright tempting pink color and honestly, only in Hungary I could find punch torta; while here in Canada? Only in my kitchen! I wanted to try their dobos torta (the famous Hungarian cake) but my husband suggested me the punch torta instead and I totally recommend it to you. Another cake that is worth to taste is the turo torta, the cottage cheese is very delicate and the taste is very nice although I have to say, at other place, I had tried turo torta before and it had brewed espresso taste; however at Cziniel Cukraszda, it was different. Before I forget to mention, don’t come there during noon to 2 pm especially in summer, hard to find an empty seat!
