Krabi is a lovely place to visit, there are a fair amount of holiday makers though but not so much that its over crowded, mainly families. The beach is beautiful and there are other beaches that you can get a taxi boat to which are just as beautiful, all the taxi boats can be found lined up on th beach. Ban Tai is one of the places you can get a beach to and its fairly quiet, Reily is also another place, both beaches are popular with backpackers. There night markets to visit and quite a few shops, plus loads of dining options. There aren't a huge amount of bars, but there is enough to keep you busy with, a lot of them are tucked away around the back of shops so make sure you have a good explore or you might not find them, although at night time I guess you would hear them! The bars close generally whenever it is that you want to leave. There are also various boat tours that you can go on, as well as tours that do elephant rides, white water rafting and quad biking. Budget accommodation is available in Krabi but it can be hard to find as there isn't much! |
