This semi-open air cinema is pretty old yet today the condition is still pretty good and is still considered as a tourists’ destination of what to do (or to go to) in evening hours while vacationing at Lake Balaton on Zamardi’ side besides skin dipping or partying. Hungarian movies are not the only movies you can catch here so it’s all good for the international tourists who don’t speak Hungarian whatsoever; the movies offered are most of the time the latest movie on the market; however, do really check the schedule as some movies are either subtitled in Hungarian and/or dubbed into Hungarian. Funny thing happened on my 1st time at the cinema, I ended up laughing too early as it was in English and apparently the subtitles were late or I don’t know; anyways, the rest of the audiences laughed later on, so I kind of made noises :P The entrance ticket is fairly cheap, around 600 HU. My family’s been going to this cinema since my husband was less than 6 years old, so yeah; it really is an old cinema. The seating is not that comfortable though, it is a humble yet a fun cinema to go to. You can bring your own food and drink but they also offer popcorn and there are nearby grocery stores.
