I had always imagined that the famous Waikiki Beach would be intolerably crowded. Though populated, Waikiki Beach was not nearly as crowded as I thought it would be. We easily found a place on the beach to set our towels. If you like to swim, I would definitely recommend this spot. They have a breaker to lessen the waves, so the water is warm and calm. We swam very comfortably all afternoon. Like the beach, the water was populated, but not crowded. I love the white sand, palm trees, and turquoise water. It doesn't get much more relaxing than that! There are fewer people there in the morning, so if you are looking to avoid the crowds, morning is a good time to seek out the beach. Tags for this Travel Tip: beach relaxing beautifulviews |
