The reason I found Ottolenghi in the first place was because of the tempting selection of pastries on display. I couldn’t avoid looking through the window when I strolled by on my way home one afternoon. The cakes, as well as the delicious fruit tarts and the Mediterranean food are a bit pricey at this café, but I doubt that you can find a place with more well-made or tasty food as Ottolenghi’s. Their carrot cake with pieces of walnuts is definitely the best of its kind in London. The almond croissants are also worth a try.

I always visit London when I'm back in the UK and love Notting Hill so will check this out!
Hmmm I have not been to the Notting Hill branch, however I have been to the fantastic one in Islington on Upper Street. Superb and tempting pastries as well as some very delightful looking salads and veggie pastries.
Quite a busy place, not to go and people watch just to enjoy the food and ambiance. I will post some photos soon.
I just realised that I forgot to write the address. Ottolenghi is located at 63 Ledbury Road and the closest tube station is Notting Hill Gate.
