There was hardly anyone in the park when I was there, which was a nice change from the usual crowds at places like that. I really enjoyed not having to wait for rides. A highlight of our visit was seeing the sultan’s son with his entourage. They closed off some of the rides for him, on others he went with everyone else.
The best part for me was the musical fountain. I had never seen anything like it before (I always seem to end up at places with water shortages) and it was absolutely stunning. There are 20-minutes shows every hour from 8 to 11 pm (with two extra shows on Sat) and I was really keen to stay and watch all of them. Unfortunately, my friends dragged me out of there.
