Travel Tip: Sunday Service at the Cathedral

5 stars
Published on Feb 28, 2008 by cutecat for Strasbourg Cathedral

Was in Strasbourg and the first thing I had to visit was the Cathedral. It's right smack in the middle of the square so it's impossible to miss. The outside's gothic sculptures are pretty intense--definitely to large and grand to capture with an ordinary camera.

I've actually been here twice but each time I visit something always seems new. I've also even attended service there in French--attended by a very international community of church-goers. Maybe it's because Strasbourg has a big global community with its schools and as the seat of the European Commission and other international organizations right in its backyard.
