For some reason I was given a smoking room. It did not worry me very much at first. In most hotels I have been to, the only difference between a smoking and a non-smoking room is the availability or lack of an ashtray. Not in this case. The smoke was getting into my throat and into my eyes and I could not sleep. Some of my friends stayed on the non-smoking floor. I did not go into their rooms, but you could smell smoke in the corridors even there. The pool of the hotel was quite nice, but the rest of the interior looked rather dated. The location of the Sheraton was very convenient, we easily walked to the city centre.
