Mrs. AWP, Ayoem, Betty, and me (the other 3 ladies are also members of Cosmotourist), today we went for birthday lunch at Maharaja Cuisine Indienne. The lunch was in buffet style and the variety of the meals was certainly nice; there are more than 5 different style of chicken, 2 kinds of cooking of beef, and at least 1 lamb dish which if I remember it well it was called lamb sag; and if you are wondering for the gulab jamun? It was major nice! Very, very yummy for sure. The restaurant was not that crowded when we arrived, but about 5-7 minutes later, more customers came and it was really occupied that the waitresses were too busy serving here and there that they forgot to refill our glasses. A couple of us have been to the restaurant for a couple of times before, and a while ago, there was news that the restaurant was on fire; and when we came to the restaurant today, we spotted some changes especially on the carpet. The crepes offered at Maharaja Restaurant are fresh made right in front of you and the Naan Bread has lovely garlic taste. I totally recommend this restaurant for those who haven’t been there and are craving good tasty Indian meals; however, today, it was a bit funny when the waiter came to us with the billing and said that he was sorry but he had to close our table; my friend was still enjoying the tea while the birthday girl was opening the presents; I think we were there for 2 hours already and perhaps that was about the limitation. Really, Dan? oooh that's too bad that you didn't go there while you were still here; i love the food in Maharadja; there is another buffet style Indian restaurant a few steps away from Maharadja, it's called Bombay Palace; did you ever go there? perhaps no because I think they moved there recently; it was on St. Catherine before hehe
hey cool, Maharaja is like two minutes away from where I used to live, but sadly enough, I've never actually been there... thanks for the article!
