Fastland is a park in the middle of Gjøvik that is built around a communal pool with a large variety of summer activities. During wintertime there is also a ski trek there but it is during the summer that the place comes to life. There are always a lot of people here lying around and enjoying the sun or playing volleyball or basketball around the artificial lake. Bring a towel and some food and you could easily spend a day here!
