The great thing about this particular Tong Lok outlet (they’re scattered all over Cape Town), is the service. The Chinese lady that runs the place obviously is either feared or respected (or both), by her waiters, because they make sure everything is perfect. She patrols the place, keeping a watchful eye on proceedings, and often comes to welcome people personally to a table, and checks on you during the meal. The food itself is good too. Tong Lok offers predominantly Chinese food, but there is a good sushi menu too. My wife rates the pork and noodles very highly.
