Zwolle is a wonderful small Dutch town in the center of the country. The moat around the old town is still standing and the old town has a very distinctive shape of a star or sun with many rays. The old town is very well preserved and has thousands of old houses, as well as some attractive churches and lots of wide beautiful pedestrian squares as well as at least three interesting churches. I really liked Zwolle and I think it is one of the most representative typical Dutch towns all around the country.
