just went to suzi's again today and i had to recommend it. there's no other place that serves such good local mamak (malay-indian fusion) and western food under one roof - and cheap, too!

true to its name, Suzi's corner is literally nestled in the corner of ampang near the international school of kuala lumpur, hidden behind a mall and a used-car dealership. this "corner" is understandably frequented by expats as well as students, mostly affiliated with the international school, but plenty of locals show up there as well. besides the standard mamak fare, there is also a great steak house where you can get great steak for less than US10. lately they have also added good hookah (shisha) to the menu, which always makes for a great time. you might have to get a local to take you there (i would) but ask anyone in the vicinity and they will point you in the right direction. suzi's is only open at nights.
