Sadly, I can not report on the catacombs. The catacombs were one of the biggest reasons that I wanted to go to Paris. We made it to the correct place with some time to spare, however, the line was unbelievably long! A man came around announcing that the catacombs would be closing at 4:00 that day (a Saturday), and that everyone standing in line would not be able to get in. We were leaving Paris the following morning, and so were not able to reschedule our itinerary. If the catacombs are a high priority for you, plan to visit them early in the day and/or early during your trip!
