Tresnjevacki plac (it is a market) is not as central as Dolac market but it is still highly frequent in fact even more so then its city center counterpart. To get there you will have to take a number 12 trams at Ban Jelacic square and get off at 5th stop. It is much bigger then Dolac and it does have the fish market, meat market as well as fruits and vegs. The product on offer is astonishing you can literally find anything here, from figs to olive oil to flowers to clothes (for the clothes and other wear go towards the end of the market). I love shopping for produce here but the main lure is cevapi (minced meat thingies). Before you enter the market little kiosks are located on the left side. Usually there is a line, but you will not have to wait long. Delicious! |
