When I visited the Kawilwe Nature Reserve in the remote countryside of Malawi, I particularly enjoyed the refreshing air and environment at the heavily forested nature reserve. I experienced fascinating moments hiking through the relatively quite nature reserve with a group of friends with whom we had taken a break from a busy tour itinerary to stretch our body muscles. We were accompanied by an armed guard during our brief nature trail at the reserve during which we also participated in bird watching and photography. We also spotted wild dogs, antelopes and hyenas which always shied away from us and disappeared from the bushes whenever they spotted us.
