Argentinians cannot think of Bariloche without thinking of two things (or maybe three…): ski, graduates and chocolate. You can find an incredible variety of flavors on the endless specialized shops. You will find pieces with raisins, all kinds of nuts, fruits, berries, cookies, inside your white, milk or dark piece of chocolate. It is difficult not to get tempted by all the options and you cannot leave the area without a couple of boxes. Chocolate shops are everywhere and most of them will also offer marmalades, jams, liquors and other locally made products. Budget wise, it is probably good for you to buy these products in Bariloche, since everything tends to become dearer in more remote areas or more exclusive cities such as Villa La Angostura. |
