Travel Tip: Trinidad

4 stars
Published on Aug 8, 2008 by Elizaoprisor for Trinidad

I loved my trip to Trinidad. It was one of the loveliest days I spent in Cuba. We spent most of the day at the beach, so we chose to spend a few hours of the afternoon in the city. We went to a nice restaurant and took a walk around the center until it was dark. The atmosphere Trinidad has at night makes it worth spending more time there. Even though there's not much to do around the city during the day, at night it gets very interesting, as that is when many locals come out, to enjoy the cool air. There's a lovely market of souvenirs and handicrafts. We bought some, even though we thought they were overpriced. There's a museum close to the Plaza mayor, but it's not really worth visiting, unless you have some time to kill. I only recommend going to the beach and taking a walk around the center after dark.
