If you’re a sushi fanatic like me, this city will disappoint you. In my quest for this Japanese delicacy, I scoured the city and managed to make a few samplings.
Dahlia – An authentic Japanese restaurant. The Makizushi (mixed sushi) was pretty darned good, was served traditionally and cost Rs 330.
Leela Palace – Sunday Brunch at the café Citrus includes a live sushi counter which means unlimited sushi, but the brunch itself costs Rs 2250.
Zen – Is the oriental restaurant at Leela Palace, but I gather that anything will cost more then a bit here.
Harima – Another authentic Jap restaurant. From reviews I hear that it’s an expensive affair.
Le Meridian – The lunch buffet includes sushi, which is just mediocre, and for which you will have to shell out Rs 800 for the whole buffet since, strangely, they won’t give us sushi a la carte.
