| The central plaza of Cienfuegos is called Plaza Marti. It’s a nice place for a walk and also for visiting the Palacio Ferrer. This palace is not very old, but it certainly is in a very poor shape. There were few tourists there when I visited it and they were all impressed about the poor state of this building. The interesting thing about it is that it has a high tower, were you can climb and have great views of the whole city of Cienfuegos. I didn’t climb it unfortunately. I wasn’t in the mood that day. Actually very few people climbed it, but they all came back very pleased about the lovely panorama pictures they had taken. |
