I was out for the first night with my sister in Nadi town, during the day time it was fine but after dark we both found it a bit scary as loads of people, mainly men, hang around out on the streets and it made us not want to go in most of the places. Then we found Ed's bar which is half way between Nadi town centre and the airport. It’s a popular bar for tourists but still, it’s mainly populated by local people. They serve food if you get there early and also have deals on drinks so its not so expensive. There is a back area where you can smoke and where there is also three pool tables. Inside its air conditioned and has a dance floor. Music is played and there is dancing but not usually till after 11pm and its usually pop type of music. I wouldn’t say its a great night out or anything but the people in there are pretty nice and friendly and its a very safe unthreatening environment, especially if you are a girl, but lets face it, Nadi isn't generally the kind of place that you go to party!
