From the pictures on the internet, it certainly looked very different but the staff were really friendly, some of them pretty funny too! And despite there being a building site next door I never noticed any noise, thank god! The hotel was very empty, I did go in low season but still, its not the hotel you would hang out in the evening or anything, not unless you love being bored to death! There were three different pool areas which was great and it was a really peaceful hotel. The tour staff were not helpful at all and obviously on commission rates! The food was pretty good and I was surprised to see vegetarian menus, very impressive. There was also a shop that was open till 11pm which was pretty handy. Rooms were kept very clean but we didn’t have a TV or hair dryers etc and you had to get a bus or taxi to the town centre which was kind of annoying, but luckily there were a few bars and restaurants near by.
