Hachiban had a nice range of budget Japanese menu items on offer including a good selection of ramen noodle dishes but also with some unexpected extras such as great tasting French fries. The restaurant was very clean and service ultra quick. Indeed my order of ramen with pork came out in barely over a minute. The piping hot green tea made for a good accompaniment. Hachiban is quite easy to find as it is located on the ground floor of the busy Carrefour Centre on Bangkok’s Rama 4 Road and has a large number eight featured in the signage. My lunch cost barely 2 Euros, and was very satisfying.
