First off, just to be clear, Lamphu Tree House isn’t really located in a tree! It is in fact a new boutique style hotel that can be found near to Bangkok’s very popular Koh San Road area just close to one of the canals. It is set in a quieter back street and so if going by taxi it is worth having a map or directions, since the place can be difficult to find. Yet its location does mean it was able to provide a relatively quiet stay. Indeed the peaceful ambience, the newness and quality of the rooms and the facilities on site including a nice outside pool meant that for barely 20 Euros I was able to get a good deal. With the offerings in and around Koh San Road plentiful but often fully booked or below par this is one place worth the effort to find.
