Beijing 9 was more than just a typical Chinese restaurant. This place, which was located in Bangkok’s Ploenchit road, very close to the Intercontinental Hotel had on offer a number of special Beijing style dishes that are not so often found in all Chinese restaurants. Although there were plenty of seafood options on the menu, many of the main courses were beef, goat and chicken dishes, which were authentically prepared in Sichuan or Beijing style. I found that there was a nice selection of wines was on offer and the place was elegant. As for prices these we surprisingly moderate and so, overall, Beijing 9 offered great value.
