Sydney: Sydney Public Transport

 stars
Published on 10:26am 08/24/2008 by anja78

Public transport in the center of Sydney is, at its best, annoying. Due to the heavy traffic in the city, buses are not able to move quicker than the cars even though there are bus lines at least on some streets. The buses are never on time and usual come 2 or 3 at a time with nothing after that for a long period of time. Trains aren’t much better. They are excruciatingly slow and if there’s an accident on the tracks anywhere in greater Sydney, the whole train system is affected due to the way it is structured. If you can, walk. It is often quicker and by any rate, you see more.
