Café Review: The best of the best

5 stars
Published on Oct 3, 2008 by jessi for Tea Lounge

For me the best hang out spot in New York is without any doubt the „Tea Lounge“in Brooklyn (Park Slope). I spent my days and nights there. The “Tea Lounge” is like a big living room. You can sit on couches, play chess or enjoy the changing art pieces on the wall. Nearly every Friday there are jazz concerts and once in a while they show movies for free. If you go to the “Tea Lounge” you have to try the one and only Mate Latte. Maté with milk, honey and cinnamon. You pay $4 for the first time, then for fifty cents each you can have refills as often as you want. That way you can make sure that you want to stay there all day long.
