Travel Tip: Christopher Street

4 stars
Published on Oct 3, 2008 by jessi for Christopher Street

Christopher Street is the famous gay area in New York. I loved going there because you can find a lot of funky coffee places and shops there. My favorite thing to do there was to buy a coffee to go, enjoy the atmosphere on Christopher Street and walk to the nearby Hudson River, where I always sat down on one of the piers. In general I can say that you always have fun if you hang out in that area because people are friendly and funny. There are also a few second hand book-and CD stores with good discounts.
