Built in the 17th Century, this little building stands proof of the strong Romanian culture, a single piece of ‘old’ surrounded by the busy streets and modern buildings in it’s proximity. It’s name is Casa Dosoftei – Dosoftei House (‘casa’= house), and today is part of the Romanian literature museum, being the place where the first religious books in the county were printed. This guy, Dosoftei, was a man of strong culture that bought the printing machines at that point, and printed books for the community. I was impressed by the old stones of the building that spring out of the pavement with no restriction, although they have over 300 years old. During night, this little building looks like a ghostly apparition placed on the edge of a busy highway.
